Policies

Payment

All major forms of payment are accepted, including all major credit cards through PayPal and NewTek Merchant Solutions.  Full payment for expected length of phone consultations must be made in advance; you will not be charged for going over time unless you make a specific request to extend your consult.

Refunds

The success of any training or management program is dependent on the cooperation of the owner. If you are unable to actively participate in the training, attend regularly scheduled appointments, or practice at home between sessions, results may be unsatisfactory.  In the rare case that the Trainer feels that the owner has been compliant but a referral is appropriate due to the nature of the case, any unused sessions will be refunded to the owner.

Train with Trust reserves the right to change pricing structure on any and all services without obligation to refund existing customers.

Cancellations

Cancellations must be made with 24 hours notice.  Cancelled sessions may be rescheduled within 30 days, or pre-paid fees will be forfeited.  Exceptions in the case of illness, injury or other unavoidable emergency may be made at the discretion of the Trainers.

Termination

Train with Trust reserves the right to terminate the training contract at any time before or during its term if Trainer determines that a danger exists to the health and safety of the public, Trainer, owner or animal. Should the Trainer or Owner terminate the training contract at any time prior to completion, all fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Release of Liability

All Train with Trust clients must sign a liability release prior to their first appointment.  Phone clients will be asked to sign electronically via Docusign or fax.

Safety and Equipment

We reserve to right to refuse to work around any and all equipment or clothing we deem to be potentially harmful or unnecessarily risky.  This includes, but is not limited to, shock collars, prong collars, retractable leashes and open-toed, backless, or high heeled shoes.  We strongly recommend that people wear hard-toed shoes or boots around horses, as well as boots with a heel and ASTM/SEI-approved headgear whenever mounted.

Photo and Video

Video or photos of training sessions may be published on the Train with Trust website. All video and photos are the property of Train with Trust Behavior Consultants, however you will be asked to sign a photo release before your image may be disseminated to the public beyond the scope of the Train with Trust website (for instance, in a training video that would be for sale to the public).
